Canada Post is a government-owned company delivering almost 6.9 billion pieces of mail, parcels and messages to some 17 million Canadian residential and business addresses each year. It operates from more than 20 major plants and numerous other processing facilities nationwide, and it maintains more than 6,000 post offices. Canada Post also owns controlling stakes in Purolator, a leading integrated freight and parcel solutions provider; SCI Group, which provides supply chain management services; and Innovapost, which handles the company’s computing and information systems. The company generates majority of sales in its home country, Canada.
